Bacon's Exclusive Provider of Its Media Database

Company to End Information Reseller License to Vocus

CHICAGO, IL., February 14, 2005 Bacon's Information, Inc., today announced that it has provided notice to Vocus Inc, of Lanham, MD that it will not renew its media information reseller licensing arrangement once the current agreement ends.

"Our arrangement has been positive and mutually beneficial to both companies," says Joe Bernardo, President and Chief Operating Officer for Bacons. "By providing Vocus with our data, Bacon's has reached a wider audience for its media information while Vocus has been able to extend its product offerings to those clients that require the best media information available in the marketplace today. "

According to Bernardo, "The decision is purely strategic and helps accomplish our goal to make our information available exclusively to Bacon's clients." "Furthermore, we believe it's important to manage how our information is provided, so that it is not commingled or confused with other data sources."
