Cision Fortifies Business Development Team with Appointment of Steve Brown in Sales Leadership Role

CHICAGO, June 7, 2007 - Cision, formerly known as Bacon's Information, today announced that Steve Brown has joined the firm to lead the sales management team in a new role as Vice President of National Sales. Brown’s responsibilities will include helping to plan, engineer and implement strategies for accelerating the growth of Cision in the U.S. The expansion of the business development team led by Brown supports Cision’s global growth strategy.

Brown has more than 18 years of management experience in developing and leading the implementation of sales and business development strategies in online and offline business-to-business environments, having recently left his role as Vice President of Business Development at AdStar, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce transactions software and services for the advertising and publishing industries. Prior to AdStar, he was a Senior Vice President with the Advertising and Communications Division of Monster/TMP Worldwide, which he joined in 1999 after they acquired Nolan Recruitment Advertising, a company Brown founded in 1995.

Mr. Brown has a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives in Evanston, IL. with his wife and three children.

"The appointment of Steve Brown will strengthen our business development unit for sustained long-term growth as an industry leader in new and adjacent markets, and will enhance the productivity of an already winning team," said Cision Executive Vice President Peter Granat.
