Advertising Age Publishes the 2007 Media Mavens Special Report

CHICAGO, IL. Sept. 17, 2007 – Advertising Age (www.adage.com), the world's leading brand for news and insight on marketing, advertising and media, today published its annual Media Mavens Special Report. This yearly study ranks the performance of the industry’s top advertising executives, as portrayed in the news media.

The media analysis conducted by Cision (www.us.cision.com), a leading provider of media research, distribution, monitoring and evaluation services, was based on media impressions generated by the news coverage published about each executive. Each mention was weighted for prominence.

"PR is one of the most under-valued tools of the marketing mix" stated Steve Newman, CEO of Cision North America. "Public relations in today’s business environment is as much science as it is art, evidenced by these advertising executives who leveraged use of all media platforms to generate not only awareness for the clients’ brands, but real results for themselves, their organizations and the industry."
