Cision Launches Multiple Editions of CisionPoint On-Demand Web 2.0 Platform

CisionPoint Enterprise, Professional and Small Business Editions Meet Communication Management Needs Across Business Spectrum

CHICAGO, IL, May 27, 2008 — Cision US Inc., the global industry leader in business and communication intelligence, today launched three editions of its CisionPoint integrated software platform to meet the media and communication management needs of customers across the business spectrum.

CisionPoint Enterprise, CisionPoint Professional, and CisionPoint Small Business make Cision’s integrated on-demand media research, distribution, monitoring, and analysis tools available to a broader universe of marketing and public relations professionals than ever before.

Each edition features the CisionPoint personalized communication dashboard that integrates Cision’s world-class research resource, the Bacon’s North American Media Database, with a suite of services and functions that support media relations professionals across the communication lifecycle. Cision introduced the original CisionPoint on-demand Web 2.0 software platform in October 2007 and subsequently developed the new versions of the product to meet the needs of the three customer sets.

“With our 75-year track record in the media intelligence and monitoring industry, Cision uniquely understands the challenges and opportunities that communications professionals face every day,” said Joe Bernardo, President and CEO of Cision North America. “Our hardcopy Bacon’s media guides have always been a staple of small businesses, while our electronic media database and communications management services have been used by large enterprises. Now our integrated CisionPoint platform will meet the needs of all our customers with an on-demand software service providing smooth, seamless upgrades as their needs expand.”

CisionPoint Small Business enables even the smallest organizations to manage their entire PR operations on a single integrated software-on-demand platform that leverages Cision’s world-class media-research database and other management tools. It includes an extensive menu of features that enable professionals to plan, execute and monitor a superior media campaign. The Bacon’s North American Media Database includes contact information on thousands of editors and analysts, premium blog profiles, editorial calendars, journalist audio profiles and photos, and outlet-specific coverage. In addition, CisionPoint Small Business includes fax/email distribution options, monitoring of print and online media, and tools to easily create coverage reports.

CisionPoint Professional is for communications teams in corporations, public relations firms, and professional services organizations managing one or more communications programs. It incorporates all the features available in the Small Business edition, plus web distribution and search engine optimization capabilities, and powerful contact management functionality to track and manage interactions with the media and other activities. It also includes powerful monitoring features such as Publicity Value metrics, Nielsen Broadcast and Website Rankings, and custom tagging, and it has a range of project management and workflow management features.

CisionPoint Enterprise is for communications departments in large, geographically diverse organizations. It incorporates all the features in CisionPoint Professional, along with more capabilities including customization, advanced analytics and premium support offerings.

In addition, organizations of all sizes can select add-on services that make their CisionPoint solution even more powerful. All three editions offer CisionPoint’s unlimited collaborative workspaces and include 24/7 customer support.

“For most communications organizations, flexibility is paramount,” Bernardo said. “Since its debut six months ago, CisionPoint has set a new standard by integrating the world’s best-in-class media database with advanced functionality, ease of administration, and ease of use. Now, with the release of these three editions, CisionPoint can flexibly and cost-effectively address the challenges that face communications organizations of every size.”
