CHICAGO, IL, April 24, 2009 – Cision, the leading provider of media research, distribution, monitoring and analysis services to public relations professionals and other communicators, today announced that its CisionPoint on-demand integrated software platform – nominated as a finalist in three categories for a 2009 CODiE Award – will be demonstrated at the CODiE Awards Finalist Showcase. The Showcase will be held in San Francisco’s Palace Hotel, on May 4, 2009, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
CisionPoint, introduced in late October 2007 and eligible for its first CODiE Award competition this year, was chosen as a finalist as:

- Best Vertical Market Business Content
- Best Online News Service
It is one of only six products to be nominated in three CODiE Award categories, the maximum number in which a product can be entered.
Established in 1986 and sponsored by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA), the CODiE Awards celebrate outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital information and education technology industries. According to the SIIA, the 2009 CODiE Awards received more than 850 total submissions from over 600 companies. The Awards will be presented the evening after the Finalist Showcase.
